Welcome. This site is driven by photography and motivated by travel and life. I spent a year traveling to thirty countries, meeting hundreds of people and trying to capture what I saw in order to share with others. I quickly realized that I had an eye for the abstract, smaller details rather than a postcard shot (don't get me wrong, I have tons of tacky tourist pics of me in front of everything). In the last five years I have progressed in equipment and style and I have expanded from digital to include 35mm and medium format film. My perspective mixes creativity with logic and mathematics from my engineering background.

Aside from travel, my influences stem from music: Delta Spirit, Mason Jennings, Bob Dylan, arcade fire, and the noah and the whale; and books: Kerouac, Hemingway, Steinbeck, Vonnegut, Orwell, and Huxley. As much of my traveling has been done alone, I have found refuge in literature and music. I have spent countless hours on planes, buses, and trains giving me ample time to read, listen and observe.

Through this site I have incorporated photos, traveling tips, and day to day thoughts and observations. Come in, look around, stay a while, and please send me any comments.
